Alexander has over 15 years of experience in writing, editing, and producing technical online and print content.
He is currently a senior technical writer at Amazon, where he specializes in creating internal and external Appstore developer docs for Fire TV and Fire Tablet partner engineers. Everyday he looks forward to learning something new about the product, and leading cross-functional teams to produce great docs.
Previous technical writing experience includes his five-year stint at Google on the YouTube Living Room team and the Google Cloud Data Analytics team. He also worked on Exabeam, Cisco AppDynamics, and ThoughtSpot documentation, and projects for Facebook, eBay, PayPal, and Pure Storage.
Alexander also has experience as a reporter, copy editor, and creative writer, and has published a 300-page novel.
He holds a BA from UC Berkeley.
